The "cirque" of Cilaos is in fact a caldera (alt. 1214 m). It's one of the 3 big cirques of this very spectacular island, which hosts also a very active volcano.
Cilaos is the name of the town not far from here.
The whole island is a paradise for trekkers (if you have strong legs...)
