[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is very very special bird to me.This extraordinarily colourful bird is found only in the higher altitude of Himalaya(8000 ft and above).They are not very often sighted.I was very lucky to get this beauty from very close distance at Tunganath ,Garhwal Himalaya.It's a sighting of a lifetime.This is a male Monal.

Hello Subrato

The Monal is one of the most prized sighting and to get a get a chance to capture it is really fantastic. Even this half portrait in a nice pose shows off its astonishing colours beautifully. Thanks indeed for sharing.
