This is an amazing image Marc. You can really sense the impact of the waves, the energy of the ocean. I think it's great. The light was really in your favour as well - well worth the 100 shots (oh the joys of digital photography!).
You could sell this shot, definitely a winner.

Striking capture, Mark, I think you did capture exactly what you intended. The sunset color and longer exposure make for a brilliant shot. An immediate favorite.

Hi Marc,
A superb seascape shot. The composition and framing are perfect. The light at the time of this shot is beautiful. The slower shutter spped has made a nice softer effect. I love land/seascape shots. This is a classic. Fits in my WOW! catagory...I love it!

How wonderful of a photo. The shutter speed was perfect so that the water shooting up looks almost like fireworks. Parts of the photo even look painted and the sunset colors on the rocks are great. Very impressive note, times like this is when I wish I had a digital camera. Where in Oregon?...I used to live in Oregon. This shot was well worth the risk you took. Great job Marc.

But the best is the long exposure time that you choosed to show the dynamic of the scene.
