|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I took this during the summer months whilst convalesing after an arm operation. It is one of my favourite butterflies (the Comma or Polygonia c-album) I love its colours and its wing shape, and was watching it from my hammock, when it landed for a few moments. During that time, I managed to get one or 2 photos of it on 35mm file. |
This is a scanned negative, cropped, resized and USM'ed. There is a lot of apparent noise in the photo, mostly due to the neglected state of the bench that it landed on. I've left that alone. Whilst this may not be the most technically perfect photo, I think it shows the beautiful colours and wing formation of this wonderful butterfly.

Very good photo of another Nymphalidae!
This specie is a Polygonia c-album (Linnaeus, 1758).
Known as Comma Butterfly in english.
Very good POV with wings wide open!
Very good on colours too!
