Excellent picture of this Water buck.Nice details on body.During my trip to Kruger National Park and Marloth Park I had noticed this specie in the bank of Crocodile river.I like the way you have presented it with its natural habitat.

Hello George,
Hope all is well with you these days. Things are starting to warm up a little more each day here in Ohio and I can't wait for the Spring migration to begin. Warblers..Warblers and more beautiful Warblers!!
This is such a majestic looking animal with very attractive body features. I have to wonder how often that vivid white circle on it's rump gives it away to either hunters or large predators?
I like the warm horizontal lighting that seems to illuminate the hairs around it's neck and nap of it's collar. White balance looks perfect and sharpness speaks for itself.
I always compare animals like this to our White-tailed Deer and am always amazed at how dense and long the coats seem to be on many of your deer like animals. Great work!!

it's so wonderful George.. that your subject was so close to it's surroundings but you still managed a 3D effect.. by isolating it from the rest. good one, indeed. the mood, the natural environment and colours.. as always, perfect.
