[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Saw this swan sitting blisfully by the side of small lake taking in the Sun after a cold spell. It even allowed me to come quite close and attempt this closeup, of course still with the telephoto lens. The way it cocked its neck was quite gracious and hence this closeup.

Swans, genus Cygnus, are birds of the family Anatidae, which also includes geese and ducks. The swans are generally found in temperate environments, rarely occurring in the tropics (and hence new for me).
