Hi Gerard,
In my opinion this common species is one of the most difficult to photograph well, you need to have big luck to have everything, every part in focus. I myself only managed to get it once - all my other shots became rubbish. Yours is very spectacular with fantastic lights and colors, incredible background blur - but unfortunatelyy the flower at the top was the closest to your lens and you focused on the one around the centre, so the top one became unsharp. If you set the focus to the flower at the top, this should be a gorgeous image, not simply a good one. But hey, it's a very common plant, so the possibility is always there! Good luck!
