[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Platycheirus (Syrphidae) is a broad genre. I was surprised to find a copy feeding on pollen grains in the stamen of a grass. Normally I thought were attracted to flowers with attractive colors. But also the wind-pollinated flowers are visited by these insects.
Thanks.
Robert.
