Although the detail and sharpness is very good and the exposure and colours seem very accurate to me, I do like yesterdays version better. The fact that the tail of the damselfly is leaving the image on the right and there is another tail and part of a wing entering the photo, makes this image too cluttered for me.
Still two points for your excellent skill in capturing though!
Hi Sabine, this is very close.
I don't think you should use a converter in front of your lens. Raynox 250 is made for Compact Digis. You macro-lens is one of the sharpest lens you can buy and the converter will decrease the sharpness. Your lens have a 1/1 size and if you want to get closer, use a pair of extension tubes or a good 1.4X converter instead. Well done with the POV, colours and composition.

Acrobatic pose :-) Picture is slightly soft but I like moment, colours and blurred BG. Nice catch!

That's it, Sabine, closer and closer.
Lovely details of one of them. Excellent colors, pov and composition.
A very nice picture indeed.

starkes Makro vom Azurjungferweibchen. Farblich sehr gut, Bildgestaltung einwandfrei und ein angenehm neutraler Hintergrund. Sehr gute Arbeit. Gruß Heinz

Hi! What an acrobat! They sure can do stretch and bend their bodies extremely well! A very nice capture - the lighting, sharpness, shallow DOP are very good! And the expression on the face is quite funny! rgds.
Grand capture of mating wheel of damselflies. Will try a WS to improve the sharpness.
