[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was watching this Red Fox hunting Columbia Ground Squirrels when she captured this one. She used the tree in the background to cover her advance then burst around the tree for the kill.
Shot in Waterton Lakes National Park.

Dear Rick,
Exciting moment to watch an animal hunt/kill!

The sudden burst of energy is breath taking, and there is no blur in your photo.

The natural colors are very pleasing. Thanks for sharing and contributing your work to the theme.
Take care ( I hope the pepper spray is always in your pocket :-)

Hi Rick.
I could not see your photos for a long time and now watch them with pleasure. Despite the pictured scene not so optimistic at least for prey I like timing a lot as well as impressive colours and nice details of the main characters. TFS and best regards.

It's a real no-mercy shot Rick. Nice colours in both animals as they match. It's a nicely framed shot with vivid colours. Focus good as well. A 10. Well done! TFS Trevor
