Hope you are well, nice to meet you here on TN and accept a warm welcome as well. This is a marvellous first post dear. This shot with a sharp focus and wonderful colours and contrasts, is immaculate in detail. However, as regards the identity of the bird, with due apologies to Peter, it is not a Red-necked/headed Merlin, seems more like a common kestrel to me. And Khalid by the way it is not an eagle but on the contrary a common falcon of our region.
Thanks a lot for sharing,
Impressive debut picture, Khalid.
Welcome to TN and we look forward to seeing your forthcoming pictures!
The bird looks elegant in portrait orientation.
Prof Hussain is an erudite member and his suggestions about the correct ID of this bird are worth exploring further.
