You have taken this picture with immense thoughtfulness to obtain a perfect image of this butterfly inside a butterfly house, Laurens. I could never imagine one could get such a fine picture with the camera settings you have selected for this shot.
You might have used even a tripod though there is no mention of it.
People like you should hold forum workshops for novices like me and many others here on TN.

Hello Lou,
A real beauty and shown perfectly in this fine image. I love the dark orange and black wings intermittently splotched with white flakes. The pollen covered proboscis can easily be seen as it feeds on the nectar of the flower. Outstanding presentation Lou!!

Mooi foto, Lou. Bij vlinders aan de Vliet? Volgens mij heb ik dezelfde vlinder ooit op de foto gezet. Alleen die van mij is niet zo scherp als deze, prachtig!

Hello Laurens,

You're capturing well this butterfly by a good composition, a good focus and very excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the beautiful butterfly with the wing of orange and white spot pattern in black. And, it's a good color contrast with red flower it's stopping.
