[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Rio Flumineddu is born in the territories of Orgosolo and Urzulei(Sardinia island), in his initial line he is constituted by a calm practicable stream without any difficulty, where seldom possible to sight flocks of Mufloni is not.

When the Rio Flumineddu, takes to flow in the wild calcareous mountains of the "Supramonte" it changes little by little aspect transforming itself in an inaccessible Canyon from the vertical and tall walls.

Here the river still disappears under earth in systems unexplored underground, and it will see the light in the distant and famous sources again of On Gologone in common of Oliena.

Only in the periods of intense precipitations the Flumineddu starts over flowing during the impetuous floods, that cross the throats of the Flumineddu and Gorroppu with unimaginable strength.

The difficulties that they meet him during the progression are represented by jumps in the void, that it generally finish on the surface of small lakes hidden to the it shades some tall walls to cross to swimming or with the rowboat.

Hi Gianfranco,
A lovely exposure!
I really like the silky smooth look of the water that the exposure has created and the way this little waterfall is almost hidden in between the rocks. The green moss/algae also adds interest to the photo. Well composed and taken!
