[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Danaus genutia or Common Tiger or ผีเสื้อหนอนใบรักลายเสือ

The butterfly closely resembles the Monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) of the Americas. The wingspan is 75 to 95 mm. (From Wikipedia)

I found this Common Tiger while I was walking in the Rama9 park. The sweet of the nectar must be irresistible and gave me the opportunity to get this this picture to share with you all.

Hello Jitti,
As you already stated, the Common Tiger looks very similar to our Monarch Butterflies here in the States. A nice looking specimen and photographed very well in fine detail and vivid yet natural colors. Looks like there may be a second butterfly just behind this one in the lower BG. Well done!!
PS. It is snowing very hard here in Ohio at the moment with a few more inches predicted tonight and tomorrow. It will be quite sometime before I will be able to photograph any butterflies like this beauty of yours:)

Hi Jitti, perfect capture of this common tiger, very nice pose, rich composition and great details and colors in the best exposure.Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano

I have shot this species only once, JC, and I was thrilled to find it among a host of Plain Tigers I was chasing recently.
You have captured it well with wonderful focus on the entire subject. The colours and details on its wings are crisp and sharp.
