Found at elevations of 100-1500 meters, this miniature sized, caespitose, hot to warm growing epiphytic species comes from Venezuela, Guyana, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru in wet montane forests and in coffee plantations with small, cylindric, complanate pseudobulbs enveloped by a series of sheaths with the uppermost leaf bearing and carrying a single, apical, elliptic-oblong, acute, conduplicate at the base leaf that blooms on a pendant, 4 1/4" [11 cm] long, densly many flowered, racemose inflorescence with 3 ovate acuminate bracts and the lanceolate, acuminate, half the length of the ovaries floral bracts and blooms in the spring that has many flowers held in a cylindrical fashion well below the leaves.

Hi Raimundo,some blurrez part but very good details in the middle,to show us so well the small flowers of this rare ocrhid specie that i never seen before,i like it! Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano
