The sloth is a slow moving animal with slow metabolism. but even with slow metabolism he has to poo once a week, and he do it on the ground or in the water. it is happening so rarely and so fast that you have to be very lucky to see it.

The photograph has some problems of overexposure, but in this particular work are minimized for the important documentary evidence of this three-toed sloth; defecating on water, hugging a tree while doing so (which always accustomed to do when he does his weekly depositions ).
