|Another spider... (I like spiders :) )|
Nursery web spider (Pisaura mirabilis)
The females grow about 15-20mm (body only) and the males are slightly smaller as common as it is with spiders. This one was one of the larger specimens (pretty close to 20mm if not 20mm) so I presume it was female.
Interesting thing happened when I've photographed it, I have tried to make it to take a better pose for photo and I've used dry grass straw to make it move. As soon as I got close to it with my "tool" It immediatly attacked it. I don't know if it was a sign of an aggression in order to defend itself or maybe it thought it was potential prey...
Interesting part about mating:
Males offer food gifts to females in attempt to mate and often play dead with food in their jaws which very much raise their chances to mate. When the female approaches and tries to take the food away, the male springs back to life and attempts to mate. Tactic is quite successful an they "score" almost 90% of all attempts that way. Clever little devils! :D

A great shot of this Nursery web spider. You managed to photograph it in fine detail and excellent DOF. The warm lighting helps show it off nicely. You can clearly see it's tiny eyes, as they have a bit of catchlight to them. Wonderful shot!!
Great macro of this spider, great POV and DOF, beautiful warm light,
great focus, sharpness, details, and contrast, being framed
diagonally in the image it adds dynamism to the photo, TFS
Another superb shot, this time the Nursery web spider. Excellent sharpness, perfect exposure and a lovely background. Well done my friend,

A fine picture of this "ugly" spider. Very well composed picture and fine color-contrast.
