Hello friends,
a souvenir from winter 2013.

1/2500s f/8.0 ISO1000 50mm (35mm eq:75mm).

« Although the Great Gray Owl is the
tallest American owl with the largest wingspan,
it is just a ball of feathers. It preys on small
mammals and has relatively small feet. Both the
Great Horned and Snowy owls weigh half again
as much, and have larger feet and talons. »

Merci.

Asbed

Hello Asbed,

Hello Asbed!
Great in-flight shot of this gray owl, very good exposure, super sharpness and very good details. Its a pity that lovely owl closed its eyes. Bare tree and a clear blue sky have added beauty to this fine shot. Well done my friend, thanks for sharing,
Warm Regards,
AKBAR

Hello Asbed,
Just back from a two weeks vacation on Lesvos, Greece.
Excellent photo of this owl in flight. Your timing was magnificent again. Beautiful light and colours, good sharpness and a fine composition.
Regards,
Peter

Hi Asbed,
What a fantastic photo this really is! The way how you captured and framed the Great Grey Owl is awesome. I love not only the composition and exposure (the flying bird's tack sharp), but the color contrast between the grey plumage and the bright blue sky also. Exceptional shot. Hats off of you.
Best regards, László

Bonjour Asbed,

Les branches et l'arbre aident au cadrage du hibou. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs du Grand Hibou Gris. La bonne luminosité rehausse la beauté des couleurs. Bonne journée.

Pierre
