[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Violet Limodore is saprophytic, i.e., it depends on mycorrhizal fungi for much of its nutrition. The leaves are reduced to small scales. There is some photosynthetic pigment in the stem, which is up to 1 m tall. In Israel it is quite rare.

It blends quite well in its habitat, as can be seen in the WS.
