I love not only the sight of these beautiful elephants, but also the mood you captured here. I also agree with Pierre (heimann2) about the dramatic light and also with Akbar (AKBAR-ALI-ASIF)that the overcast conditions was perfect to highlight the elephants. It is really a beautiful scenery. Impressive image.
A dark sky and yet the foreground is FULL OF SUNSHINE ... the grasses are "lit".

Nice elephant photo, the composition's great. I see you had difficult light conditions, but you solved the problem quite well. You placed the big mammal very well into the frame and the usual savannah landscape helps the viewer to focus him/her only. Good work.

What an attractive photo of these two African Elephants. The framing is perfect and you managed to obtain excellent detail. Looks like a storm is brewing up in the distance from the dark clouds or else it is just about nightfall. It must have been thrilling to view such large creatures in their natural habitat. Great shot!!
