I had captured this picture in Lower Sabie Sunset Dam, South Africa.

We were returning to Skukuza from Satara. We stopped here, but we were little bit late to watch this incident. When this croc was coming out from water I captured this picture. I couldn't go closer because there were so many car in front of me. Although it's very sad to see such incident but it's the rule of Mother Nature and we have to accept it whether we like it or not. This big Croc was dragging the poor Impala in front of us. Truly sad to think about such innocent Impala......

Hello Srikumar,
Very special photo of this crocodile with prey. Taken from a nice low POV. Good sharpness and beautiful natural colours, despite the difficult light conditions.

Just in the right place at the right moment - very well taken.

Hello Srikumar,
Fantastic captured of this crocodile with his prey, great low point of view, good sharpness, a lovely nature picture,
Thanks for sharing and have a nice weekend,
Best Regards,

Namaste Srikumar

Luck gave you an opportunity and you took it well. Maybe having part of lake/water in frame would have added to the atmosphere. Still nicely done as is.

Well depth picture of this giant with its prey.Good light n natural look.

Hi Sri,
Such innocent impala... I don't fully agree as without predators herbivores would kill the Earth with overpopulating it and killing all the greenery. And if the carnivores don't eat, they die... Fantastic scene, very interesting pic although technically a bit oversharpened as it seems on dry branches of the trees and slightly on the croc, too. But I agree with the colleagues, a very interesting, special pic.
Best regards, László
