[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Snow on Mt. Carmel is very rare. It happens every 20 to 30 year. It happened last night at elevations above 500 m a.s.l.

Here you see Cyclamen persicum bud and leaves under the melting snow. Two landscpae pix are in the WS.

Hello Ishi,
I'm sure everyone was surprised to wake up to a scene like this since they don't normally see snow. You have done a fine job of recording this unique and rare event through your beautiful images, here and in the WS. Wonderful detail and beautiful natural colors. Exposure and white balance are right on the money. Great job!!
