The Waves And The Bubble Family
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
After I posted an icy image last week, I decided to share another one, this time a photo shot today. It's fantastic how Mother Nature froze Miss Wave, Mr. Bubble and their many relatives to a special short-lived phenomenon named cat-ice.
From the formation another (very different) subject came into my mind, the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram, used in astronomy. We can clearly see a main sequence, the dwarfs and the giants... :-)
Photo was taken today, on the Curraheen riverside, in manual exposure mode. PP: auto levels, decreasing brightness, moderate cropping. As a workshop I upload the whole scene.
Thanks for your comments.

Hello Laszlo - Here I am 67th viewer of your natural beauty. Amazingly I am the first person who likes this picture. So I am glad to think that at least I have versatility. Laszlo, I like to watch the quality of picture and then I watch pictures subject(whether it's a Bird; Butterfly; Fungi; Landscape etc.). I like your WS picture where I can see its whole atmosphere. Here the way you have showed us the freezing Wave and bubbles are really nice; I mean its DOF and natural color. I always like to read NOTE and here I found it interesting, as well as USEFUL. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes - Srikumar

A great photo we see how clear is the water by seeing
the water vegetation behind it with in the same time
seeing great details of the iced water, TFS
