Milhafre-preto, Black kite (Milvus migrans)
Hello TN Friends
Today I went to the Mondego wetlands. This week the black kites arrived and the activity is almost frenetic. This couple are fully involved on the nest building.

Excellent capture of a very interesting and superb pair of birds of prey. Sorry, is something wrong with TN.......
Marius.
Hello Jose,
Against such eye catching blue BG, Black Kites are looking very nice. Details and colors are impressive. I like their active moment.
Thanks for sharing,

Hello Jose,
Great timing on this shot, both birds are sharply focused. The way the branch is twisted up over the head of the bird on the left, makes it appear to have horns. I really like their dark reddish brown color and also the good eye contact. The raised wing action has been frozen perfectly. Beautiful blue sky as a BG.
