Hi Michael, beautiful capture of this ground squirrel! It seems a monochrome composition on this red ground.Very nice pose to see the complete long tail and fine details everywhere.Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano
Hello Michael,
Nice to see a post from you once again, hope you guys are all doing fine. You did a decent job of photographing this healthy looking Squirrel. The focus is sharp and you even got a little catchlight in it's eye. Seems to be in a relaxed pose with no worry about you being around. It has such a long tail and actually reminds me somewhat of the Fox Squirrels we have here in Ohio. It's always nice to view creatures in their natural environment.
The only thing I question is the white balance, as the overall image seems to have an amber tint to it. I did a WS and adjusted the color which to me looks more natural, but only you know what the lighting looked like when you took the shot. Hope to see more from you in the future.
Ron
