|A better result at photographing a 28 Parrot (Barnardius zonarius semitorquatus) compared to my first effort a bit more than a year ago. This time I did use a tripod and shutter priority!|
Cold mornings (for Perth, anyway) and the birds are a bit sluggish. This male Twenty-Eight Parrot (or Western Ringneck Parrot) was half asleep in the sun.

I am presently out of the country and have not had use of a computer most of the week. I am using my daughters lap top and wanted to let you know how much I enjoy viewing your parrot image. I have never heard of this particular bird before, but you did a fine job of photographing it. I like it's lime green body, yellow ringed neck and what appears to be a chocolate colored head with blue cheeks. Captured in a nice relaxed pose and displaying good detail. The soft natural lighting creates a very pleasing atmosphere for this attractive image.
a green bird in a green environment. Good details and sharpness.
have a nice day
Une bonne composition mais surtout une très belle lumière qui fait resplendir de splendides couleurs sous une très bonne profondeur de champ.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
