[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Ladybirds nymph about 8mm in length and is the friend of all gardeners because of the amount of aphids that it consumes.

The Ladybird has many variations in spot numbers and colour variations.

My first upload since my stroke last year. This was taken in my garden with an Meyer Optic 50mm f2.8- 5 lens with a x2 prinzeflex converter (all from my old film setups,) on the front of the lens was Raynox m 250 all mounted on a two way track system for in/out and side to side movements. The f/stop is shown as f1.4 but the lens was set to f22. This setup is not recognised by the camera so I use AV mode which allows the camera to set the shutter speed according to light. The whole setup is tethered to my laptop in live view which makes seeing the image a lot easier.

Nice nymph in beautiful colours. Not in total sharpness, more details on the leaf. Good DOF and a fine vertical composition.

Hi Bill,
nice to see you back from your stroke.
A fine close-up shot with decent sharpness on the head and feet, the shallow DOF I think deepens of the extra lens and converter.
The colours are nice and natural and ) also like the POV and composition.
About stacking: I have done a lots of stacking last years, one of the best progz is Helicon Focus,
if you have a newer version of PS, Ps6 or PS CC , its easy to do stacking.

Pity the insect move the rear left leg during the exposures.
