This grim outcrop near Big Sur is quite typical of the rocky area that develops to the north on Highway 1. The California Squirrel I showed in another shot is one of a colony that appears to inhabit the bushes at the edge of the cliff.

Hello Alan,
Awesome seascape image of this beautiful little bay. I love the composition you chose with the large boulder in the foreground while the oval shaped rocky ridge leads your eye from left to right into the sea. Excellent exposure and sharply focused throughout entire frame.
