|I have not been on Treknature for a while as I have not had too many opportunities to do nature photography or to be on the computer. |
I was working at Kathu, Northern Cape and did two quick trips to the Kgalagadi game reserve.This area is just magic with wide open spaces to take shots of the animals.
Shown here are two wildebeest/Gnu males fighting with a nice clear background of short grass.
Taken with a Canon 7D MK1 and a Sigma 150-500 mm lens at 247mm F9.

Excellent action shot. The composition is excellent and the dust shows the speed and aggressivity of the two animals.
It's a nice opportunity to frame such fighting Gnu in such panoramic open Savanna. It looks black Wildbeest, I think. I have seen plenty in KNP. Hope will visit Cape soon.
