This is the San Miguel volcano, also known as Chaparrastique, located in central-eastern El Salvador, approximately 15 km southwest of the city of San Miguel.
Tyipe: stratovolcano
Elevation: 2130 m (6990 ft)
Last eruption: April 2015

The photo was taken in a cloudy day, with a pocket camera and from a bus, after leaving San Miguel.

Hi Pedro,the pic isn't the best talking about the quality but it was very difficult to made better with a pocket camera and in this very difficult light.An interesting post about this volcano still in activity as i can read in your note.Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano
