Sorry there by climbing rocks I do observe many like this but the documentaries brought this awareness that many animal do this just to mark its territory.

Hello Musa,
A great educational image of (as you already stated) a marking bush. Which ever type of animal marks it's territory like this definitely has to make sure it doesn't get too close to the sharp spines, otherwise it may be putting a mark on more then just it's territory;)!!
