Sorry about the quality of this image. It was a cloudy day with no light and the bird was at a great distance from me.......I post this image only to show you an amazing bird of prey with exceptional skills and hunting techniques.....I watched her hunting small birds. Now she follows a group of big tits.......

The Eurasian sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus), also known as the northern sparrowhawk or simply the sparrowhawk, is a small bird of prey. Adult male Eurasian sparrowhawks have bluish grey upperparts and orange-barred underparts; females and juveniles are brown above with brown barring below. The female is up to 25% larger than the male one of the largest differences between the sexes in any bird species. Though it is a predator which specialises in catching woodland birds, the Eurasian sparrowhawk can be found in any habitat and often hunts garden birds in towns and cities. Males tend to take smaller birds, including tits, finches, and sparrows; females catch primarily thrushes and starlings, but are capable of killing birds weighing 500 g or more.

Hi Marius, maybe you worked hard with the noise reduction process and you lost a bit the sharpness, but the pic is still beautiful, great capture ofthis sparrowhawk in its habitat, bright colors despite the light.Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

hallo Marius
super good sharpness of this beautiful bird
i like this composition between the tree
thanks gr lou

Hi, Marius. This is an amazing photograph of the Eurasian sparrowhawk. The posture, colors, sharpness and exposure are all in my opinion excellent. Thanks for sharing this beautiful portrait.

Beautiful specimen nicely captured. WOW!

Presentation too centered though (even slightly uncentered to the wrong side). Google for photography rules of the two thirds.
Also a bit of overuse of noise removal.
