The Plains Cupid (Chilades pandava), also known as the Cycad Blue, is a species of Lycaenid butterfly found in India, Ceylon, Burma, Indochina, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Java, Sumatra and the Philippines. They are among the few butterflies that breed on plants of the cycad family.

Beautiful macro of this butterfly, but I should have cut a piece of the right side of the photo. The butterfly is in nice natural colors and pin sharp. Beautiful blurred background too.
Excellent macro of this tiny Plains Cupid. Nice sharp detail, DOF and composition. The bright coloured plant add interesting and colour to your image.
