[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Crab Spider and Lynx Spider had a busy time on spring flowers in March this year. That is the time when winged insects visit the flowers for nectar and pollen. I took this picture in March when the school garden was in full bloom. The scene took place on a large yellow Marigold flower.

Thomisidae is a family of spiders, including about 175 genera and over 2,100 species. The common name crab spider is often applied to species in this family, but is also applied loosely to many other species of spiders. Among the Thomisidae, "crab spider" refers most often to the familiar species of "flower crab spiders", though not all members of the family are limited to ambush hunting in flowers.

Hello Ram,
a nice capture achieved by you but obviously not for the fly.
It's incredibly sharp with great depth of field. Fly and spider as well
as the parts of the flower are presented with superb sharpness.
Best wishes, Peter

Hello Ram,
A superb capture of predator and prey in fine detail and beautiful color. Both the spider and the unlucky fly are in sharp focus and presented in an attractive composition. Wonder color tones and just the right amount of exposure. Well done!!
Ron
