Species: B. daphne

The Marbled Fritillary (Brenthis daphne) is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is found in the Palearctic ecozone, for Europe the range is limited to the Southern parts of the continent.
The length of the forewings is 21-26 mm. The butterfly flies from May to August depending on the location.
The larvae probably feed on Rubus and Viola species.

Brenthis daphne, Denis & Schiffermüller - 1775
Lunghezza ala anteriore 23-28 mm.
