I have captured this "Eyed Pansy" (Junonia orithya) butterfly in our yard early in the morning.

* Junonia orithya or Eyed Pansy is a nymphalid butterfly with many subspecies occurring from Africa, through southern and south eastern Asia and in Australia.

* In India it is called "Blue Pansy"
* But in Southern Africa it is known as "Eyed Pansy".
* In Australia it is called "Blue Argues".

Absolutely gorgeous specimen showing an array of mixed colors and intricate markings. The blurred BG is a wonderful bonus and exposure is perfect.

Very nice composition and fabulous DoF. Good colours and PoV as well. Probably the right wings are a little bit blurred (at least not sharp enough), and the canvas is too thick in my opinion, but a good photo nevertheless.
