Hello William,
Nice image with a lovely heron specie. It is larger than the Purple Heron and very shy, here in my region. You have the luck to get close to this nice specimen. Thanks for visiting my gallery.

Hello Bill,
Your heron obviously didn't know you were there by its body posture and eye position. Composed in an attractive vertical frame and showing good detail and well saturated colors. Exposure is right on the mark and you have obtained plenty of DOF. Reminds me somewhat of our Blue Herons here in Ohio.

Beautiful picture of this elegant bird with half its legs immersed in water, Bill.
Hope you enjoyed your outing with grand children.

Ciao william, great capture of fantastic heron, beautiful reflection, wonderful colors, fine details and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hi William, very very good capture of this grey heron in a curious position, surely wating some fish passing by close to its legs...ehehe...but it seems very sad,not a good dinner today..ehehe...a lovely composition very sharp despite the difficult light and with nice reflections like a lot of clear underscores, well done! Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano

Hello Bill,
Nice photo of this heron in fine sharpness and natural colors. Good choice with this vertical composition.

Hello William,
In first glance photograph looks beautiful if it is framed as the "SUBJECT". Here vertical frame looks perfect and you were able to achieve a beautiful reflection. Details and exposure is well too; mainly on WHITE NECK. Well controlled light on BG vegetation too.
Thanks for sharing your work with useful NOTE,

Hi William,

I appreciate the reflections on the water. The point of view is showing the details of the Grey Heron. The sharpness is very good. Have a nice day.
