[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Friends,

My weekend was more than busy so I upload during midweek now. The reason why I chose this photo from my huge archives is I just simply wanted to post a photo with glowing yellow in front of the dark background - I hope I managed to achieve my goals.

Species info: Wild mustard (Sinapis arvensis L.), common roadside species everywhere in Europe, including Ireland.

Photo info: taken on the Curraheen riverside, during "the hottest summer of the century in Ireland" (2013), in shutter priority exposure mode after 8 o'clock pm, with using macro converter lens. PP: moderate cropping, increasing highlights a bit (+6) in highlights/shadows.

Thanks for looking.

Hello Laszlo,
Your fast 1/1300 shutter gave you an interesting black foggy BG which I like very much. Intriguing lighting, almost magical yet allowing you to obtain excellent detail of your subject. Like a fine painting!!

Hi Laszlo,a very artistic way to take a pic of this yellow brassicacaea, very common in my country too,the light and the sharpness are fantastic and the yellow is very bright, original post from your archive, well done! Have a nice weekend maybe not busy as usual..ehhee...Luciano

Hello Laszlo,
What you wanted to achieve, you got it. Nice POV and light. Colour looks beautiful against dark BG. DOF could have been better in f/8 or f/11 and in such way you could get more darker BG, in my opinion.
Thanks for sharing,
Regards and have a nice WE,

Hello László

Very fine POV and framing for a beautiful perspective, and the
light and shadow with the subject giving an atmosphere effect, TFS
