Happy Easter - Bobcat Celtick souvenir
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Hello friends, this Mommy Mallard and her ducklings|
I want to do it my Easter 2017 photo, it is in the
same time a souvenir of Bobcat Celtick my 3rd
pointing dog (Griffon Korthals) who died recently,
when I took this photo he was with me in leash.
That year, end of spring 2015 I have done many photos
of mallards and mallards ducklings when Bobcat Celtick
was with me in leash, in one hand I had him in leash
and in the other hand my rugged compact camera.
1/320s f/4.9 ISO400 18mm (35mm eq:100mm).
Mallards are “dabbling ducks”—they feed in the water
by tipping forward and grazing on underwater plants.
They almost never dive. They can be very tame ducks
especially in city ponds, and often group together with
other Mallards and other species of dabbling ducks.»

Ciao Asbed, Happy easter totale you too, nice scene with lovely family, wonderful natural colors and splendid clarity, very well done, my friend, have a good week end, ciao Silvio
You had a nice time with your Dog. Sorry what happened......!
Nice natural habitat picture of this mommy Mallard with little ones. Well exposure as well as details. ODD NUMBER Ducklings created a nice composition with mother. Nice DOF too.
Thanks for sharing,
Happy Easter and have a nice WE,
Le sujet est bien cadré. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails du canard Colvert femelle et de ses canetons. La bonne luminosité fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journée.

A wonderful Easter Image of this mother duck and her chicks. Very sharp while displaying excellent detail and rich natural colors.
