Lovely picture, Lou. And it is good seeing that you are back. TN has become much less interesting and active lately...
The species does not ring a bell at all. It does seem like a hybrid, but what of? What other orchid species did you record close by? The structure of the flower is that of an Ophrys; the form of the labellum looks a bit like that of Orchis purpurea....

Nice to see a post from you once again. I can't comment on the ID since I am not orchid expert, but this is definitely a gorgeous specimen. I like the light yellow color of its petals in contrast to the dark almost ruby red outer lined lip. Nicely focused and just the right amount of exposure. The WS image is equally as beautiful.
