Fresh picture of this most colourful butterfly taken on my school campus.

Talicada nyseus, the red Pierrot, is a small but striking butterfly found in the Indian sub-continent and South-East Asia belonging to the lycaenids, or blues family. The red Pierrots, often found perching on the Kalanchoe plant, are usually noticed due to their striking patterns and colors.

Hello Ram,
Always a pleasure to view one of these beautiful little butterflies. The contrasting black, white and orange colors go quite lovely together. Very sharp focus and presented in an attractive composition. I like all the greenery surrounding it. Well done!!

Ciao Ram, great macro of elegant tiny butterfly, fantastic colors, splendid sharpness and fine details, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hi Ram,
I don't agree with the troll, this pic is not bad at all. Maybe a little overcropped, at least this is what I think from the background noise, but everything else is fine on the image. First of all the composition's pleasant, this is the most important, and I also love lights and natural colors here. Sharpness on the wings seem ok as well. I like this photo.
Kind regards from Ireland, László
