[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Few years ago, I was lucky to find this little insect on my backyard. Of course its beautiful colors and shapes call my atention. Unfortunately my camera was a cell phone and Im not profesional but it's worth exhibiting its beauty. As I read, is very common in warm places, but almost invisible, female size is about 5 mm, like this one. I felt very special to saw it, even I was not sure what kind of insect was, until a friend showed to me one photo in orange color. It does not hurt the human being! Its scientific name is Gasteracantha cancriformis, commonly named as star or soldier spider. Hope you like!

Hello Gisela,
Not an easy subject to photograph due to its tiny size, but you managed quite well. It has lovely markings and the Black and white contrasting colors are very pretty.
