Blue Dasher on Lotus

|I guess it's a Blue Dasher though it is not supposed to be an Indian species. Experts are welcome to correct me.|
The blue dasher (Pachydiplax longipennis) is a dragonfly of the skimmer family. It is very common and widely distributed through North America and into the Bahamas.

Stunning shot of this lovely dragonfly. Eye catching detail and very attractive composition.
It may be a male (Ground Skimmer) which has coloring and markings very similar to this specimen. Check out this site
