[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have captured this 'Ruff' (Philomachus pugnax) early in the morning at Marievale Bird Sanctuary. Light was very low and I never use flash light to capture picture of animal, so here used high ISO, to get at least a decent picture.

Thank you very much Tom (pirate) for your short, valuable and informative comment and help me to identify the correct species.
The 'Ruff' is a medium sized wading bird that breeds in marshes and wet meadows across Northern Eurasia, and spends the Northern Winter in the Tropics, mainly Africa.

Hello Srikumar,
A fantastic image of this lovely Wood Sandpiper. Beautifully marked while displaying exceptional detail. I love the mirrored reflection you managed to capture and the composition is quite eye catching. Appears to be a healthy bird, very plump.

Hi Srikumar, beautiful capture of this wood sandpiper,a classic pic with the reflections in a symetric perspective, very good quality despite the difficult light and no noise in this high ISO,well done! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hello Srikumar,
Nice capture with excellent focus, natural colors and details of the feathers. Indeed if you are close to the subject the image is more accurate....

Ciao Srikumar, great capture of lovely bird, fascinating reflections, fine details, wonderful natural colors and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hi Srikumar,
Beautiful image with the mirror effect, the high ISO (I mean the grain) isn't visible at all, both the bird and the reflection are wonderful, sharpness is perfect. Probably the bottom of the reflection's a little too closed to the edge of the frame (for me at least) - otherwise an exceptional image taken in difficult conditions. Congratulations!
Kind regards from Ireland, László

Hello Srikumar

Excellent shot of this wader bird with its beautiful reflection,
fine POV and DOF, great focus, sharpness, and details, TFS

Hi Srikumar,

The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the Ruff. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.
