Dear friends, don't be mad at me if I keep on posting and posting owls and owls. I could have chosen another photo to be uploaded, but I decided to post this because... I like it.

Some time ago I managed to capture two juvenile owls. One of them was behind his/her sibling, so that we could see just a part of his/her body. I posted this shot.

So far, this was the best capture of juvenile owls I had taken. When they're young, the ones from here are difficult to capture. When they realize there's a human being around, they get into their den quickly. Even though, the ones who enjoy taking wildlife shots know that the animals' behavior is unpredictable. Thus, the four guys above surprised me - I could take several shots. One of the little owls even allowed me to get closer. I intend to post this shot tomorrow (yeah, the "owl saga" goes on; don't be mad at me).
_____

They are "corujas-do-campo" (Speotyto cunicularia). In English, burrowing owl. They usually build their nests by digging holes. They can be found almost all over Brazil, feed on insects and have nocturnal and diurnal habits.

Ces petits animaux sont vraiment fantastiques !! Vraiment une très jolie photo tant pour l'originalité, les poses "rigolottes", qu'un excellent choix de plan! Du très bon travail ! Bravo !!! J'en veux encore ! ;-)

Hi Livio, intresting shot.
I really like the left couple. Every owl is telling a different story.
Contrast should be higher and a lower angle will be better.

Thank you.

Hi Livio,
Very good shot of your burrowing owl gang. They almost look like aliens coming from another planet. You are very lucky to find these in Brazil (called here "Chevêche des Terriers", but not existing in Europe), as they really have an amazing look. I like their placement on the image, like if they were posing for you. A cute scene and a very good catch. Post as many you like, they look funny.

Hello Livio,

I very much like this image, and especially the little guy with the wink. ;-)

Details are wonderful, POV is great, and the fact that you have captured four of them so sharply is amazing.

Well done, and thank you for this joyful posting!

Lívio,
grande composição. A coruja piscando ficou ótima. Eta terra vermelha aí em Patos de Minas hein! Nota muito boa também.
Espero que goste do workshop.
Parabéns,
Wagner.

A família está excelente.... e não há quem não observe o piscar do olho.... He... He...
Belo conjunto - e raro. Uma ótima foto.
Não há nada de mais você ter uma porção de fotos de corujas... já falei que as acho um charme. Além de tudo muito úteis o que é bem importante.
EXCELENTE TRABALHO! - Continue.
Obrigado!
