[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hi Trekkers,
I didn't post in the last 4 or so weeks, but now I return with a species new to the site: the Chinese Dogwood (Cornus kousa var. chinensis). The fruits reminded me to a strange raspberry for first look (hence the title).
Photographed today, in the Fota Arboretum. Handheld, manual exposure mode. PP: moderate cropping, shadows/highlights, selective re-sharpening after re-sizing.
Enjoy! ☺ |

This is, indeed, a strange but interesting subject from flora world, Laszlo. You have used your compact camera deftly to obtain this sharp and clear image.
The three distinct colours make it an artistic composition.

Hi Laszlo, very curious specie,it seems a bit like the chinese lanterns(alchechengi) watchting the dry leaves below the fruit,in effect seems a raspberry, top quality of sharpness and colors. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano
Ciao Laszlo, great macro of interesting specie, wonderful natural colors, fine details and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio
