I met this cute little swan on a late evening in June, with his family (parents + 2 brothers or sisters). I really like this shot where he shows so proudly his "wings fully extended", ready for take off :p... but there's still a long time to wait before he can actually leave the surface !

The subject is good, the detail is there, but the bird has some over exposed areas. Looks like you were shooting in a strong sun. A suggestion, set the camera's Exposure Value (EV) down a couple of stops when shooting in this condition. A good setting to start with would be - 0.03 to - 1.00. This will underexpose the shot and help you keep the details in the whites.

It's a wonderfull picture. Lovely baby swan. Some OE indeed especially on the head, but I like it anyway.
