I discovered this wild flower at the back of my home. I find the structure and the colours of the flower amazing to look at. In a way it looks like the wheel in 'wheel of fortune'.

Yes I've confirmed that this is a passion flower. The other info I have is that it also can be found in United Kingdom. Sorry guys, I'm not much of a flower guy. :P

I like this picture and I hope you like it too.

Cheers.

Excellent shot. Great exposure, detail & DOF. Very colorful & pleasing to the eye. Well done!

That wild flower is a Passiflora or Passionflower.

Hi Yahwen. Very nice floral pic here. Nice colors and good use of DOF too. Maybe the flower could have been just slightly to the right here? good shot.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that is a Passion Flower. They are such bizarre but interesting flowers! Beautiful capture; love the colors and the composition. :o)

I have just spent the whole of this afternoon looking for a name for this Passiflora as has been said already, the closest I got was this Passiflora foetida. which I do not think I am completly right with this identification I think it is a species local to you which there is no posted net image in english. It is a good image though it needs the notes amending more fully to tell use more about the flower we see. you need to go away and do some research on local passion flower may be from books or speaking to people about it so you can update the notes please, looking forward to the results of your search it's what TN is about.

This flowers look like some outer space technology, they are fantastic. I still remember a macro of a similar one someone posted here. Yahwen, this beautie needs a closer detail as a workshop urgently. :D
Thanks for sharing.

This is where they got the idea for Xmas decorations. This an absolute beauty. The image is sharp and the DOF good.

Thanks for posting

Belle composition pour cette très jolie Fleur de la Passion !
Couleurs agréables et bonne netteté.
Well done !

Yahwen, indeed, great colors. And the flowers cause a mixture of feelings: at the same time I find it very beautiful, I fear it. Maybe because of the title you gave to your photo.

Congratulations.

Lívio

This flower is sooo beautiful, it comes good out with your photo.
Thanks
