Captured this guy at Sea World Orlando. I have been lucky enough to see them laying eggs in the wild. They will lay about 150 eggs in a hole the prepare above the high tide mark. Depending on the temperature of the sand all the hatchlings will be male or female.

Green sea turtles average about 200-350 pounds, with a carapace length of at least 2 1/2 feet long. Adults can grow to 4 feet and weigh up to 400 pounds. |
