[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This mother Starling was being a good mother and feeding her young.

Starlings sometimes group together in such numbers that they become a nuisance, they destroy insects but at the same time drive away smaller desirable birds. The starling has a iridescent black plumage with a long bill which is yellow in spring and summer. They can mimic other birds songs and sounds.

Good shot of the Starling Sue. So she has a nest in the conifer - don't let my cat know, will you. These birds also chase cats away too. Good shot... TFS

Hi Sue.
Very good photo.
Great DOF and colours.
I liked the composition too.
good work

Hi Sue,
I really like the composition and framing on this one. Beautiful colors with good detail. I do like their plumage, but your right, they can be very big pests.

Hi Sue,
Nice shot of the starling, I like them but I have to wait to April to see them again.
Well composed, good POV, nice colours and good details.
Well done.

Hi Sue,
this is lovely, you had great luck to catch the right moment. I also like the headline, perfect, very good job, thanks and greetings

Hi Sue, interesting view and a nice capture with all those worms in the beak. They must be very hungry chicks!

Good shot here, it's different to what we normally see. Some fill-flash would have been useful to throw some light on the bird but it's a good shot regardless.

Great capture Sue,
Sorry it's a rushed visit tonight.
Your post is well worth a big green smile.
Thanks for posting, It's good to see one of your shots again on TN.

Beautiful shot, really a good point of view!
Well done bye Tom

very nice composition

Absolutely DELIGHTFUL composition! (If I ever write a book, I want that photo on the cover!)
The color and lighting are good, but the composition wins!!!
